POLICY

Acceptable use policy

Updated September 21, 2026. Applies to the Sage AI Connector and the relay service behind it.

Short, because the product is narrow. It reads your own Sage data and answers questions about it. Almost everything below follows from that.

What it is for

Your own staff, and people you authorise, asking questions about your own company's Sage data. One subscription covers one Sage company.

What you must not do

  • Resell, rent or provide access to anyone outside your organisation, or run it on behalf of another business.
  • Share credentials. Enrollment codes, tokens and licence links are per-installation and are not to be circulated.
  • Use it to reach data that the Sage user it runs as should not be able to reach. Your Sage permissions are the boundary, and you set them.
  • Attack, probe or overload the relay, evade rate limits, or attempt to reach another customer's data or the service's own infrastructure.
  • Use it to build or train a competing product, or to extract the catalogue of endpoints and behaviours for that purpose.
  • Use it for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaks your own obligations to your customers or employees.

What is yours to look after

The connector runs on your server, as a Sage user you create. Keeping that server patched, keeping that Sage user scoped to what it needs, and deciding who in your organisation may connect an assistant are all yours. We cannot see or control any of them.

You are also responsible for what your people do with the answers. See the note about AI-generated output in theconnector privacy notice.

Automated and heavy use

Normal interactive use is not rate-limited in a way you will notice. Bulk or automated querying that degrades the service for you or for anyone else may be throttled. If you have a legitimate high-volume need, ask us rather than working around it; the answer is usually yes and it costs nothing to ask.

If this policy is breached

We will normally contact you first and give you a chance to put it right, because most breaches are a misunderstanding rather than intent. Where the conduct threatens the service or another customer we may suspend access immediately and explain afterwards. Repeated or deliberate breach may end the subscription without refund.

Suspension stops the relay serving your connector. It never touches anything on your own server, and it never deletes your data.
